People are making $ 1,000,000+ / year selling micro products.
I've stolen their strategy, and now I make $$$ selling ClickUp micro-products.
Steal our strategy 🧵
1. Distribution
Build some distribution on social media, a personal website, or a newsletter before you build a product.
2. Skill Stack
You might have mastered some skills and can share your experience and learnings with the world.
3. Build In Public
When you're building an audience, try to get to know their pain point and find a solution to how you can solve them.
Let them know that you're building a solution for them, and how you're building it.
4. De-platform
While building an audience on social media, try to get your audience to your newsletter or personal website and let them stay hooked to it.
5. Valuable connections
Build connections with people already doing great, get a chance to talk to them, and win their trust.
They can help you build your business.
6. Type of product
The type of product you want to build matters a lot.
You can build a curation, a guide, a video-based tutorial, an NFT, a SaaS, a template, and more.
7. Community hunt
Get into the best community where like-minded folks of your niche hang out, build connections with them and inform what you're building.
8. The Golden Roadmap
Build a roadmap about how you'd like to go about product development and stick to it.
9. Launch in Public
Launch your micro-product and ask for audience feedback.
Learn from their feedback and build version 2.0
10. Build 2.0 in public
Let your audience know what updates you're bringing in version 2.0, take their feedback seriously, and keep iterating until you don't build a product your target audience loves to use.
Finally, launch the product your audience loves.
Summary:
1. Distribution
2. Skill stack
3. Build in public
4. De-platform
5. Valuable connections
6. Type of product
7. Community Hunt
8. The golden roadmap
9. Launch in public
10. Build 2.0 in public
