There are different ways to measure political ideology. This was fairly comprehensive, asking for lib/con, Dem/Rep, and other attitudinal responses.

The results here are consistent with past research on sociosexuality, political or social attitudes and what are essentially individual differences in restricted or unrestricted sexual behavior.

Also consistent with research that has found male adherence to masculine roles and female adherence to feminine roles predicts higher sexual satisfaction.

A recent poll found conservative men felt more masculine, so masculinity may be a mediating factor to sexual satisfaction associated with conservativism.
