It is not a woman’s job to rehabilitate or “try to understand” the motivation behind a criminal’s crime. She doesn’t have to be understanding or empathetic and compromise her own safety. Women, be more selfish. Stop trying to empathise so damn much.

The amount of times I’ve seen and heard people say this? “It’s not his fault… he was having a bad day.. he drank too much… he has some trauma”. Fuck him and his trauma and put yourself first Darling. You are not a miracle worker, you don’t have to try so hard to heal these men.

I’m also further sickened by women who encourage other women to stay in situations where they are being hurt. “Have you tried talking to him. Have you tried not talking so much.. he will change…pray about it… complain less”…. WTF. Gosh…who did this to us? Break that chain.
