Degrees, among others, inflate our expectations subconsciously on which partner to settle with. And when that type of partner aligns more with our ego than realities problem occur.
Rule:
Ego = Reality = early marriage
Ego > Reality = late marriage
Ego < Reality = early marriage
Rule:
Ego = Reality = early marriage
Ego > Reality = late marriage
Ego < Reality = early marriage
There are people with degrees whose realities can afford them the ego of their degrees, and those, by the will of AllΓ’h, you'll see getting married early. Just as there are those whose ego supercede their realities, who have unrealistic standards, who often have little urge.
The latter wish to marry in the bracket of their course mates who are probably raised in a very different reality from their own. And mayhaps those women are but an illusion, and the ones for them are raised in realities which are equal or less than their own.
In this our society, a very hard-working man can educate himself with his own pocket. But a woman usually needs a financial guardian. And in the event hearts meet, in what capacity, then, would that trying person expect to arrive in time for that privileged woman?
It'll be very difficult. For carpenters, bricklayers and petty traders the logic is different. Ego is always equal to reality or even less. Thus they get married earlier than degree degree holders whose ego ranks higher than realities.
Marriage is nevertheless AllΓ’h's will. π€²

I wrote this piece on Facebook almost 2 years ago when we were cheerleading an army of university undergraduates and I don't know if it's relevant.
