@jamadagnisri The Sandhyā of today, with mudras & nyāsa, is a result of accretions over centuries. Traditional scholars dislike such conclusions because they can’t easily reconcile divinity of tradition with gradual evolutions, due to, entirely, their own unwillingness to be creative.
@jamadagnisri As for Śrauta rites, since they are neatly axiomatized) by Śrautasūtras (which mostly predate tantra), they ought not to be influenced by tantra. Having said that, later, medieval Śrauta-prayoga texts (like the ones you can find on muktalib site) may betray such influences.
@jamadagnisri On a deeper note, as I have hinted previously, there is a common ritual logic between Śrautam & Tantra (the latter may have inherited from the former the core logic, not the actual elements which are duly tāntrika innovations).
