Men and women are different; I take no issue with this scientific fact. But to my eye, it seems that the increase of porn, and the incredibly violent, soulless, abusive forms it now takes (the porn industry consists of nearly 95% adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse),

has degraded our society to a soul-crushing extent. 
The mainstream media and population seem completely ignorant to the possible source of kink and abnormal sexual behaviors in general.

They might want to consider the possibility that kink is very likely an association between a traumatic event and an object or aspect of the space within which the abuse took place. An object or part of a room, can serve as a ‘safe’ place on which to fixate during horrific trauma

almost as a form of meditation, for the child to distance themselves from what they are experiencing. They often continue this, well into adulthood, without even realizing why.
