Iโve been using the 60-20-20-time management rule
- 60% main projects
- 20% spontaneous tasks
- 20% reflection
- 60% main projects
- 20% spontaneous tasks
- 20% reflection
I only plan out 60% of my available time
And use this to focus on my high priority tasks
Things like important calls with clients, work related projects, my main to-do-list throughout the day

For those things I canโt predict
Like day in tasks, other people bring to me or random unseen time-consuming problems I encounter

20% goes to reflection and conceptualisation
Iโve found slowing down to reflect on my work allows me room to innovate and make better experiences for clients
Taking a break from โbusyโ work gives the extra bandwidth to notice valuable insights and come up with new ideas

But just because youโre not generating new sales or seeing tangible outcomes doesnโt mean your wasting your time
