al-Imām Ahmad al-Sāwī al-Mālikī رضي الله عنه said:
"The books of our deeds are shown to the Prophet ﷺ day and night. If he sees good, he thanks Allah ﷻ and prays him. And if he sees bad, he seeks forgiveness for the one who sinned."
