There are foreign women who say they like Nigerian men because they're big spenders.
I've also heard foreign men say they dislike Nigerian men because they spend too much on women, and make them materialistic.
Then, you have NG men complaining that NG women are materialistic.

If 1+1=2, and 2+1=3, then NG women are materialistic because NG men made them materialistic.
And NG men complaining about materialistic relationships is analogical to a man doing shooting practice on his foot, and then ranting off to everyone about how he can't walk properly.
