It's said that on a marriage a Rajput princess brought 100s of Rajput maidens. So, Mughal Harems were filled with these Rajput noble women & Princesses.
Rajput Men guarded these same harems so that Muslims could peacefully enjoy them.

This custom was started by Akbar & continued till 18th century.
It was only possible because of Rajput Guards that Muslim Men peacefully enjoyed & statisfied themselves.
