Here's how you can stop being lazy and get more done than 97% of people:
1. Find your purpose
Humans are meant to work towards something bigger than themselves
When you find your purpose, everything you do to move towards it will make you feel fulfilled.
It’s all you’ll want to do.
You’ll stop scrolling TikTok and start doing what you want to do
To find your purpose, start going deep into the world of your natural curiosities or interests
Look for intersections between a few of them.
And keep going deeper and deeper into the world of those interests.
Don’t be afraid to pivot, but understand this is a long process
2. Set goals
It’s easy to be lazy when you have nothing to do, no goals to chase.
I like to set goals in 3 areas:
• Physical
• Financial
• Purpose related
Without goals to chase, you’ll find yourself glued to the couch.
3. Make a plan
You need to make a plan.
But not just any plan, make a plan down to daily actions.
These are your daily focal points.
Do these daily actions everyday and it’s only a matter of time before you achieve your goals and beat your laziness.
4. Optimise your nutrition
If you eat crap, you’ll feel crap.
Your blood glucose and insulin levels get fucked with and you end up crashing.
If you want to actually get shit done, fuel your body correctly.
Prioritise your protein intake and cut out crap.
5. Build habits and routines
Habits and routines make completing your daily actions and everything else in life, much, much easier.
I recommend these 3 routines:
• Morning routine
• Deep work routine
• Evening routine
6. Win the morning
If you wake up and instantly start scrolling, you’ll likely carry that throughout your day.
Wake up, make your bed, get through your morning routine and get to work within 30 minutes.
Win the morning to win the day.
