1. Identifying needs
Instead of searching for app ideas, I prioritize finding needs.

โข Use Shopify forums, Facebook communities, live events
โข Ask customers for feedback

I prefer to build solutions for unique problems and needs rather than duplicate existing ideas.
This focus allows for a wider range of opportunities as needs constantly evolve.

2. Validating ideas
Once I have identified a need, I consider potential app solutions. I validate them by asking myself:
โข Did I understand the problem?
โข Is there a genuine demand for this solution?
โข Will people use it?

To do it:
โข Build a mockup using tools like Photoshop
โข "Fake it until you make it" by designing the app as if it already exists
โข Contact the individuals who provided the initial idea for further validation

If there is no one to reach out to, the idea is not based on a real problem and can be discontinued.
If the following criteria are met, I will begin building the app:
โข More than 10 people express interest
โข They ask for the app's name
โข They follow up with me about the app themselves
This indicates that they are enthusiastic about the idea.

3. Building the app
โข Create a minimum viable product (MVP) in under two weeks
โข Submit the MVP to the app store
โข Offer the app for free or with a free trial to encourage rapid growth

4. Onboarding users
โข Set app to unlisted
โข Contact individuals who helped validate the idea to try the app
โข Reach out to community owners for special offers (e.g. free trial for first 5 users)
โข Aim to onboard at least 15 users

To improve the app, stay in contact with users, seek their feedback, ask if they know of other interested individuals, and iterate based on their suggestions.

When the app is ready, publish it on the app store and ask all users to leave a review simultaneously.

Now is the time to:
