In 2017 I jump into the e-com opportunity.
I was a developer, so I quickly decided to help people add stuff to their themes.

1) There were not many developers
There were a lot more merchants than developers, so I was able to get many jobs

2) The space was new
Everything could be created as the market wasn't crowded

3) I didn't know marketing
And the App Store made it easy to get early users without marketing your app

4) It was easier to get people to pay for a Shopify App than any other SaaS I had built.
5) Less code
I didn't have to handle the paying system, the invoices, the taxes
