The war in Dhumay in Southern Sool was between 2 Dhulbahante subclans (Bahararsame and Qayaad). It was the bloodiest war between 2 subclans in Somaliland history with over 140 deaths and +200 seriously injured.

Dhulbahante subclans committed some of the most heinous crimes against each other during that war. A horrific example being when a Qayaad Imam of a masjid was burnt alive by Bahararsame.
This did not happen 100 year ago, it was in 2018.
