Cheat codes about life I know at 30 that 99% of people learn too late:
1. No one is coming to save you.
Take responsibility to gain freedom.
2. Thinking small requires the same energy as thinking big
May as well think big.
3. The more you learn, the more you realize how little you know.
4. The more available, the less you want it.
Less availability = Perceived higher value
5. The more you chase happiness, the more it runs away.
6. Social media disconnects you from being social.
7. Solitude makes you more social.
8. The only certainty in nature is uncertainty
9. Failure is a part of the journey to success
You only fail if you quit.
10. Fear of death makes living difficult
11. If it scares you, you should probably do it
12. Talk less to say more
13. Take yourself less seriously so you can take yourself more seriously
14. Pain of discipline = freedom
15. The only constant is change
16. More choices = Harder decisions
17. The more you need help, the harder it is to get
18. What you resist, you give power to
19. You want others to change, but are unwilling to change yourself
20. The right thing is almost never taught because business success is a moving target
Understand foundational principles, then figure it out on your own.
21. The more you judge, the more you isolate yourself
22. The world reflects your own feelings back at you
23. If you can’t decide, the answer is no
24. You don’t want to be cure, you want relief from your suffering
25. If you renounce your demons, you’re tied to them forever
Better to ignore
