Here is some advise for 2023 it’s about People. You may not know this but you have to Cut some People off in ur personal life who will throw u off balance. To be a trader it requires a lot more than Skill. U Need to have peace in ur Life. In 2022 I cut off half my Friends.
Some of them grown ass men doing the same shit as if we were in our 20s. Personally I have no kids but some of my friends have kids and act like they have no kids. I say to them instead of going out every weekend why don’t u go be with ur kid.
Then they have the nerve to lecture me saying I am not a father I wouldn’t know shit. Then I had to say to them “Nigga if I had kids I would not be doing what ur doing fix up”. That is just an example of toxic people.
In all honesty my trading improved a lot when I cut off those people. Our values did not align and I always was like the leader in my friends the advisor to them. But u can only advise people until u realise nothing will get through to them.
Eventually you get to a stage in Life where u have to think about you and it’s okay to be selfish in Life. I had spent a good 10 years of my life looking out for the wrong people. And I could not make it as a trader if I let those people stay.
Anyway I have guys now u random people all over the world strangers but friends some of you. I think this means more to me than you realise as most of u are on the same path so the journey does not feel lonely anymore.
For the record I value u these conversations we all have some of the live spaces too. It is some comfort to speak to u all. Maybe it’s just me. But the whole left by my friends in the real world u guys filled it up. Thank you all people.
Seriously cut off as many toxic people as it takes and leave a few friends with u the ones that don’t bother u and support u morally. Not the negative ones that eventually will become haters.
