1/
This is the trading journal I built 4 years ago.
I thought maybe it would be helpful for you if i show it to you and explain about it.
2/ "Main sheet" this is where it does start. and this is where you need to do all the imports.
numbers... prices... setups...
3/ then we collect informations here. like about the ideas and comments and emotions and conclusions at the end.
4/ we chose between the problems that you might have in the process of trade. and then some statistics about the mfe and mae of that trade.
5/ absolutely beautiful :)
lots of numbers about different setups and different trading pairs and statistics like sessions and days.
also lots of charts for each idea against setups and trading pairs.
6/ problems
7/ weekly and monthly statistics
8/ I like this section of the journal a lot more than the others :) it's all about optimizing the setups/trades.
9/ and at the end total numbers and equity graphs in different shapes
10/ I think the best journal that someone can use is the one that he built himself. because everyone is different. when you built it you know how to use it and you can add and remove stuff more easily.
11/ problem about my journal is all the hard formulas that i've used and built. lots of math here and there. still i can publish this journal in the future either for free or a small cost like $10. but you might go into problems and delete formulas and stuff like that.
12/ why a small fee? because in my opinion when you publish something for free people take it for granted. they don't really appreciate it. and they don't really care about it. if you pay something even like $5 $10 then you will appreciate it more and you will use it more.
13/ still i haven't decided about anything. might publish it for free i don't know. But i hope this was helpful for you and you start journal even with the tools that are out there or even build your own one.
14/ I would like to know your opinion about if this was helpful or not and what is better to be done about the publishing.
that was it!
