@Sandeep_Mave Can this question be answered without knowing definitively where the MKI falls short compared to its modern peers (F/A-18E/F, F-15E, Rafale, etc.)?
@Sandeep_Mave Some shortcomings are obviousβsay, lack of a MAWS. Others, like the degree of sensor fusion or the electrical power quantity/quality available to utilize upgraded subsystems effectively (eg. radars, ECM) arenβt well understood by us laypersons.
@Sandeep_Mave Further, what makes a fighter truly effective is the degree of fusion it can achieve with with overall warfighting system. Itβs worth asking what upgrades are in the offing (both within the outside the MKI) that enhance the performance of the whole system.
