Most important thing is that jammers. Because the plane being control outside of the airplane with efficient jammer it can be cut off the single from the control central.
Enemy can take over the aircraft without using any missile.

Satellite based control system can be used but that would cost a drone as much as a Space Ship.
Another thing is Artificial Intelligence. Which can detect itβs enemy without any command. But this type of technology is possible but not available at this moment. We will see this in 6 th generation aircraft.
As a defender army if drone control centres destroyed it will be catastrophic for them. Only drone based airforce will lose the war with in a few minutes because the enemy knows without control centre drones are toys. So, they will target drone control centres first
So, at this moment if you want fight against a modern army you need fighter jets. Drones have no chance against jammers let alone air defence . Untill we set AI system.
