I'm still trying to process the impact of ChatGPT on my coding. At this point it seems 100% superior to googling for R code and trying to follow tutorials on random blogs (but probably not better than getting specific feedback from experts on Stack Overflow).
You can feed it particular constraints that you might be operating under (like not using a particular function) and get a customized response.
You can assess the solution and ask for it in a different form.
I'm very aware that this whole process relies a lot on my ability to assess the quality of the response and come up with ways to guide the system towards the solutions I want.
I think ChatGPT is going to be a classic case of the rich getting richer.
Everybody will benefit from systems like this but people who already know a lot will be able to leverage this system to do even more than people who only know a little.
