All this talk of profitability is annoying.
Do we really want to live in a world where a doe-eyed entrepreneur can't raise $100 million with a 32 slide pitchdeck where the 3rd deck says, "India has 125 crore people and if my startups get 1% of that as customers..."

And most importantly should the entrepreneur not be allowed to "pivot" from predatory lending, sorry I mean fintech, to edtech to, artificial Intelligence to biomechanics to selling customised t-shirts?
What's with this "be profitable" bullshit?

Name one thing profitable companies have given us?
On the other hand, unprofitable companies have given us free tshirt, dry fruits, discounted cab rides, discounts on obese food, sorry high calorific foods, scooters to steal, AI/ML courses for 6 month babies and more.

Innovation comes from a bonfire of other people's money. Not from stupidity like capital allocation, focus on cash flows, margins and profits.
Make burning money great again.
