When the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) left the torturous persecutors in the city of Makkah and entered the welcoming city of Madinah, an electric environment of excitement was abuzz.
Sayyiduna Barra Bin Azib (May Allah be pleased with him) said, βI have not witnessed the people of Madinah as ecstatic as they were on the day the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) appeared in Madinah.β [Bukhari]
Some girls were singing βTalaβa al Badru Alayna (The full moon has risen over us).β A few little girls were singing, βWe are the daughters of Banu Najjar. What an amazing neighbor is Muhammad (peace be upon him).β Everyone was chanting, βThe prophet of Allah has arrived! The
messenger of Allah has arrived!β
Sayyiduna Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said, βWhen the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) appeared in Madinah, every particle glowed with radiance and the day he passed away, everything was looking gloomy. We barely dusted our hands after burying him when we found that
our hearts have already undergone (some spiritual) transformation.β [Tirmidhi]
