1-We strongly condemn Iranian-affiliated terrorist Houthi militia's trial of 4 social media activists, Ahmed Hajar, Mustafa Al-Momari, Ahmed Allaw, Hammoud Al-Misbahi, on trumped-up charges, after abducted &forcibly disappeared, for criticizing corruption &hard living conditions
2- The mock trial in an illegal court is act of repression &abuse by Houthi militia against media &journalists , &issuing death sentences against them, to terrorize &silence them, prevent them from reporting reality, &coverup crimes &violations it commits against civilians
3- Scenes of the trial of journalists on the basis of their opinions confirm the persistence of the Houthi militia in reproducing the practices of the Tehran regime in terms of abducting its opponents, forcibly disappearing them, and fabricating charges against them.
4- We are confident these crimes won't quell calls for a popular uprising against militia, which confiscated all rights &freedoms, impoverished &starved Yemenis, set Yemen back decades, &isolate it from its Arab &intl surroundings &mortgage it as bargaining chip in Iran's hands
5-We are surprised by intl silence re abduction, enforced disappearance, trials,&execution by Houthi militia against politicians, media, journalists, &activists to terrorize &prevent them from raising their voice in against hardships &claim their right to live in freedom &dignity
6- We call on intl, UN, UN &US envoys, human rights, &defening journalists orgs to define a clear position, &pressure on militia to stop the trials &release them &all journalists in their prisons immediately, &stop using judiciary as a tool for repression &political terrorism
