An Achilles Heel of wokeness is that it was always destined to become *BORING*
Because wokeness makes everything about power, who has it, whose interests are served, and who benefits, it has nothing interesting to say about beauty, truth, relationships, love, character, etc.
2/
It's not just that wokeness doesn't have anything interesting to say about the things which give life meaning, it's that wokeness **CAN'T** have anything interesting to say about those things.
Let me explain why this is the case....
3/
Wokeness makes two moves which cause it to inevitable become boring and nihilistic.
1. love, joy, truth, beauty, virtue, morals, values, character, etc are both entirely subjective and socially constructed.
2. All social relationship are, at bottom mediated by power.
4/
This means as soon as you try to talk about anything that matters (truth, beauty, love, values, etc) wokeness will always make the exact same two moves:
1. Claim whatever you are talking about is subjective, and socially constructed by the dominate group in society.
and...
5/
2. Ask "who gets power from how the thing is socially constructed, whose interests are served by the concept, and who benefits?"
Those are the two moves they make when you try to talk about anything meaningful or important.
Always.
Every. Single. Time.
6/
The central focus of woke ideology is social power; who has it, who wields it, how it is obtained, and how it operates.
For this reason wokeness will always try to "deconstruct" a thing to demonstrate how a thing is socially constructed and thus subjective and contingent...
7/
And then once having shown that the thing in question is just made up, is pretend, is a social fiction constructed by the dominant group in society in order to serve it's own interests. Wokeness will then analyze the thing in question through the lens of power and interests.
8/
Since that two step process (deconstructing things and then analyzing them in terms of power) is what wokeness does with everything, everytime it doesn't take long for wokeness to become predictable and *BORING*
wokeness is a two trick pony, and those tricks get old quickly.
9/
Further, since wokeness always deconstructs things and reduces them to power, it can't ever explore the deep significance of things, and is unable to creatively explore how things like morals, joy, beauty, values, truth, love, etc, enable us to build meaningful lives.
10/
Wokeness thinks is sees through everything, and knows that all the things we think are meaningful are in fact just social fictions created by the dominant group to maintain power.
It views the world so cynically that it can't ever offer up any earnest, sincere analysis.
11/
What can wokness say about beauty? only that beauty standards are created by the patriarchy to control women.
What can wokness say about marriage? only that marriage was created by the patriarchy to control women.
What can wokness say about truth? well...
12/
Truth is a social construct that is created by the people in society with the power to decide what is true, and they decide what is true according to their own interests.
What can wokness say about work? only that work is created by capitalism to benefit the corporations.
13/
What can wokness say about virtue? only that the things constructed as virtuous are constructed by the dominant group to get people to behave as the dominant group wants.
See how this works? it's the exact same copypasta/paint-by-numbers response to everything.
14/
It's endless, nihilistic, lazy, boring analysis.
All it is capable of doing is tearing things down, and doing so in the exact same boring, stale, repetitive, formulaic way.
What this means is that after a time, anyone who care to actually build anything is going to...

get sick of wokeness and leave it in the dust.
We need to leverage this by offering positive alternatives to wokeness which are exciting, interesting, important, useful, and deep.
The moment wokeness gets intellectually challenged by a competitor which offers a...

positive vision, it will become clear just how repetitive, stale, and BORING wokeness truly is.
We need to offer something, fun, fresh, exciting, interesting, true, good, and aesthetically beautiful.
The destiny of wokeness to become boring is going to make room for us...

It is up to us to take advantage of the opening that is given us.
If we don't we have no one to blame but ourselves.
