1. PLUS Expressway has agreed to add 12 RFID lanes by mid-April, says Works Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi.
He explains that this is to ensure the comfort and safety of road users, adding that further details on the lanes and locations will be announced soon.
2. Alexander said this in a Facebook post after holding a meeting with Touch β€˜n Go Malaysia, the Malaysian Highway Authority, and PLUS Malaysia to get clarification on issues surrounding the use of the RFID system at toll booths.
3. β€œBerdasarkan rungutan yang banyak diterima, rata-rata pengguna transaksi ini mengeluh mengenai kekurangan laluan transaksi RFID yang menyebabkan kesesakan teruk di plaza tol,” he added.
β€œIsu keselamatan juga turut dibangkitkan.”
4. Alexander assured that he has instructed for action to be taken as soon as possible to resolve the ongoing issues.
