My experience with Hat Man was being escorted through a dark forest with fungus scattered all about in various patterns with a deep, cacophonous yet symphonious chanting and humming in the background.

I was brought to a glorious golden bridge, words can’t describe the intricate beauty. Across the bridge was a similarly golden kingdom. I was told he could not take me any farther, so I began walking on my own.
About half way across the bridge, I woke up in the hospital.

This was one of my first near death experiences.

I’ve seen him a handful of other times experimenting with deliriants and long-term sleep deprivation while growing up.
