"I quit my job"
I decided to quit my job last month.
Lots of dilemmas.
Lots of worries.
I want to share with you who are in a similar situation.
Let me start with some contexts:

Let me start with some contexts:
0. Politic play
I realized in any organization, we gotta play office politics.
Which is OK. It's part of the game.
Everyone wants to improve their status, power, and influence.
I noticed 80% of my time goes to meetings, understanding people's perspectives, and persuading people.

The political play often burns me out.
I want to spend my time building things.
I want to spend my time talking to users,
solving problems, and doing the work that matters.
So this is my primary trigger & a few wrong hires who are toxic start to enter the field.

I'm often frustrated when the strategy is unclear.
When everyone wants to involve in the decision-making.
But no one wants to make a decision.
Or make decisions in consensus.
Realizing your source of frustration is the first important step.
The next question: What to do then?

1. Finding another "status."
My knee-jerk reaction was to browse jobs.
I was looking for another cool company.
I was looking for another nice title and good pay.
But then, I wonder: Is this solving my problem?
I realized...

I realized...
..my reaction has a lot to do with how our society works.
I'm focusing on "what I want to become."
instead of "What I want to do."
I decided: Okay, I don't want to play the status games.
I want to do things that I love.
I stumbled upon this concept called Bootstrapper

2. Bootstrapper
There's this idea that you can grow a business using any existing resources: Personal savings, personal equipment, and some space.
I like this.

I like this Bootstrapping idea because it allows me to spend the majority of my time to:
- Identify problems
- Explore ideas
- Quickly test
- Be wrong and improve
- Pivot if needed.
- Think about strategy.
- Have pressure of failing

3. Example
In just a month, I tested this cohort-based course.
I talked to a few people.
Identified that product people in Indonesia struggle to level up.
It's hard to find good resources.
It's hard to find like-minded people to grow with.
Also, language often becomes a barrier
