Every Investor needs to be able to value companies.
Here are the 5 Resources that will teach you everything you need (+PDFs)πŸ‘‡
1. Valuation Classes
There are outstanding investors and professors teaching valuation for free.
Joel Greenblatt and Bruce Greenwald are two of them.
(Yes, there’s a high correlation between the word β€˜green’ and good valuation work)
PDFs to their WHOLE classes are at the end!
2. Investor Letters
There's no better way than learning from the best.
Fortunately, the greatest investors spent lots of time explaining their process
They give us these answers in their investor letters.
PDFs to ALL letters of
- Buffett
- Lynch
- Klarman
- Sleep
At the end
3. Speeches and Writings
There are many phenomenal speeches and public appearances of investors.
And the opposite, writings that never got published as speeches or letters.
There a re two I specifically like by Charlie Munger.
You already know it... PDFs at the end.
4. Memos
Some investors, the most famous one being Howard Marks, release memos instead of letters.
Marks’ Memos are a real treasure to every investor.
You can find them on the Oaktree Website.
5. Books
Obviously, books are a great source too.
I specifically enjoy
- Margin of Safety by Seth Klarman
- Valuation by McKinsey & Company
- The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham
Links to the book at the end.
That’s it for today!
I hope you learned something new!
If so, please Like and Retweet this Thread so more people can see it.
