C. Designing and manufacturing:
For textile-based handicrafts: The designing team comprises skilled and semi-skilled labor who make the necessary designs on the products through hand weaving as well as by using the sewing and stitching machines.

Then the same is sent for dyeing to third party contractors along with the necessary instructions with regard to the type and quality of colours. Then the products are inspected for the quality purpose and washed thoroughly and are dried in house.
For wooden and metal-based furniture and handicrafts: The raw materials are directly sent to the contractors for processing along with required design of the proposed product. Once the product has been received from the contractor, it is painted and colored in house and
final finishing is given to the product.

Priti International is mainly into the manufacturing of home & office furniture as well as recycling and up-cycling of products. Their manufacturing process starts from understanding the trend and then making a prototype.
After that they take confirmation or feedback from their customers and then start procuring raw materials and then they send these raw materials to the manufacturers of furniture. Majority of their manufacturing is outsourced and then they bring back the material further
for painting and finishing and then store the finished product.
From this we can conclude that their business doesn’t require much assets. So basically they have an asset light business model and also the main cost in their business is of raw materials.
