Thakur Sonaray - Krishna riding Lion : On the day of Magh Krishna Ekadasi, in Varendra region (mid-north Bengal) Sri Krishna is worshiped in a special form, Simhavāhana Banśīdhārī Kr̥ṣṇa, known as Thakur Sonaray. This form is comparable to Dharma-thakur Bankura Ray of Rarh.
