This is why I tell men to reject being responsible for women they do not have authority over.
When she goes to a place without informing you because you don't matter that much, guess who she will call if she gets robbed, accidented, assaulted or needs help of any kind? You.
So where's the sense, fairness or justice in an arrangement where you are expected to be responsible for a person who is not answerable to you?
If a woman says she has complete autonomy and so does not need her man to know of her whereabouts, yet expects him to come clean up when shit hits the fan and the walls become messy, she doesn't see him as a man worth respecting.
He is her janitor. Her errand boy. Her slave - her personal emergency service. And no man with an ounce of self-worth should put himself through that.
Implicit in the principle of self-rule is the capacity for self-sustainance. Hence, you cannot have complete autonomy if...
You still depend on someone to feed, provide for or protect you.
So a woman who wants a man to take care of her, yet doesn't want to be answerable to him seeks a servant. And any man who obliges her is exactly that.
Responsibility without authority is slavery.
