25. The big mobile operator Three also signalled their intent to go cashless in all their stores in Ireland.

27. However going cashless has not proven to be as plain sailing as it was compared to convincing everyone of the Covid hoax. In July 2022, Allied Irish Banks (AIB) climbed down over plans to remove cash services from 70 branches due to āpublic uneaseā.

32. Things didnāt exactly improve on the cashless front when free food & drink was provided to attendees at an American football match in the Aviva Stadium in August following a technical issue which prevented card payments being made.
33. The Aviva made the decision to go cashless and saw card transactions unable to be processed for two hours due to an issue with the payment provider.
