I’ve spoken to 47 new traders since I’ve been up. While I remain on Twitter I anticipate to speak with many more. These are the questions that new traders need to aware of before reaching out to ANYONE
Mentorship is in no way a holy grail, doesn’t matter who is teaching.
1. This is not easy. Nobody can make it easy. Experienced traders can only help you to organize the approach you take.
This MUST be understood.
2. More information does not make you better. Practicing the correct logic helps you to understand and anticipate a price move. You’ll still need to manage your engagement with the markets. (Market selection, position sizing etc)
3. You will not blend every profitable strategy and create a better system. Put that notion to bed.
4. You’ve used an idea before and made money. Be willing to put that idea to bed if you’re exposed to logic that proves you simply got lucky in the past.
5. Your hand will not be held. You’re being guided to become your own independent trader. So you MUST reflect on what you’re taught so the understanding takes root.
6. Every mistake you’re likely to make has already been made. Discuss your analysis process and not the entry. A won from a faulty logic is not to be cherished. A loss from a sound logic is not to be ashamed of.
