There's usually outrage when some men red-flag nose rings, waist beads, leg chains and tattoos in women.
People make decisions based on observations. If one has seen 5 ashawo wearing waist beads, leg chains and nose ring, any girl who wears all is an ashawo in his eyes.
It may seem offensive to women who aren't prostitutes, but choose to wear them. But it's valid.
It's just the same way you wear certain dresses popularly called 'ashawo gown', and get angry when approached by men for sex.
It's disingenuous to believe people won't act based on observation.
If a man who patronises hookup girls always sees them wearing that same skimpy dress, he's right to assume any woman wearing that dress is in the trade.
If I'm used to seeing doctors in the hospital garbing a lab coat and slinging a stethoscope over their necks; shouldn't I identify any one I see in such attire as a doctor first, before confirmation?
Back to waist beads and other accessories; those red flags men accrue to them isn't because they look hideous. It's simply because they've been tagged to a certain group of people. And no matter how you insist you're not them, it will be difficult to prove it.
The best thing to do is live your life without caring about people's opinions, but don't try to make them seem stupid for having them. They got them through observations.
