I got an email on Christmas Eve (!) from a lady who sounded panicked and desperate. Cowboy builders made her home uninhabitable and she's in homeless accommodation until it's fixed, where she can't have her two elderly cats.

I did say I wouldn't take any more with thyroid problems because last time the cat's medication caused problems with my own thyroid (which didn't form properly when I was a baby) but it was a special case.

The number of people who told this lady to put her two 18-year-old cats to sleep because she couldn't have them for A FEW MONTHS is staggering. Would they say it about someone's kids? They're members of the family!
So that's Poppy, Molly, Stripes McKenzie, Bertie and Frank who've all been recommended for euthanasia in their lives. And all happy, loving, fulfilled fluffs who deserved better.
