Post Russia-Ukraine conflict the supply chain is massively disrupted. Clubbed with crop damage due to floods,Pakistan is facing a huge grain shortage, leading to enormous price hike. And..Bharat is sending Wheat to Afghanistan on humanitarian grounds...but NOT to Pakistan.

🔸Pakistan Rupee is devaluated to PKR 230.93 vs USD making Imports so costly that Whatever भीख it's managing,is getting exausted in paying just Oil Import Bills. Mind you that Pakistan doesn't have PKR settlement agreement with any Country as no-one trusts Beggars Currency.

🔸Pakistan's Current Account Deficit⬇️by 60% to $3.66 Billion in July–De 22 against $9.09 Billion in Jan-June 22. Biggest reason is massive decline in import bill, which ⬇️by 23% to $31.38 billion.

🔸Country's fuel crisis is expected to only worsen further after Italy-based LNG trading company, ENI stated that it Won't deliver its next cargo due to Payment Issue. Gas deficit to⬆️as imported LNG will⬇️to 700 mmcfd & only 7 Cargoes from Qatar,would be available in Feb23.

🔸Pakistan has Defaulted in IMF loan payments on time. Govt has even failed to secure loan from IMF after it failed to meet the conditions that prices of petrol and diesel must be hiked further. IMF is delaying approval of its 24th loan & pushing Pakistan into deeper mess.
