How I helped a client make an extra $10,500 in sales by Optimising his Landing Page coupled with a monstrous Email Marketing Campaign.
Here was my ENTIRE strategy:
<<Thread🧵>>
Let's begin with his landing page.
I followed this structured formula that is bulletproof in most cases.
1. Headline:
The headline is the first thing visitors will see when they land on your page, therefore you cannot afford to cut corners.
Writing a catchy headline can inspire people to stay on your page & want to know more rather than leaving right away.
Make a bold claim!
2. Subheading:
The subheading should reinforce your headlines statement / bold claim.
Give just a bit more context.
Shed some light on your offer and share the Unique Value Proposition.
3. Video sales letter (VSL):
This is your chance to become a person that your ideal customer craves to work with instead of being just another anon account.
@StevenTrister is your guy to learn more on this.
Here is his 13 step VSL framework:
4. Call to action (CTA):
In general you have 3 options.
- Insert a link to your calendly.
- Opt in details.
- Buy now.
Depending on which suits your offer best, insert that now underneath your VSL.
Ensure it stands out and won't be missed.
Have it in a stand out colour.
5. Benefits:
Have 3-4 benefits or key points of information that explains the offer in some more detail.
I like to insert icons here or have unique design.
This makes the page engaging and adds context to the copy.
6. Social proof:
It can be client logos, case studies or testimonials.
These testimonial should answer questions that a prospect might have.
If your offer is to 2x conversion rates, a prospect may question, "really?"
Display a testimonial that proves you can.
7. The process:
Explain exactly what the process will be when a client starts working with you.
Tell them everything you're going to do, step by step.
Create a warm and friendly environment that is beneficial for your prospect.
Be a likeable person.
8. What's included:
Let's give the viewer a more detailed vision for when the opt in or purchase your offer.
This can often be great in video format.
9. Call to action (CTA):
A CTA is a must at this point.
You took your shot and now you must capitalize.
A CTA must not be far at all times.
It's important to keep one visible as often as possible but don't spam it.
Find the right balance.
10. Social proof:
Let's add in some more social proof and reassure the prospect that this offer is exactly what they need.
11. FAQ's:
People need good understanding to buy with confidence.
Over time use your most common pre-sale questions for this section.
Place the FAQ section near the end of your landing page.
If someone hasn't purchased by now doubts still exist.
FAQs answer these doubts.
12: Final CTA:
Always have a final CTA to finish off your landing page.
This time, add some context.
What can the prospect expect from the call?
Add some social proof in here as well.
Now for the email campaign:
I created a 5 step email sequence for my client.
1 - Welcome + value
2 - Pain point + a solution
3 - Value + trust building + soft sell
4 - Value + social proof + soft sell
5 - Hard sell
That's a wrap!
