If William Shakespeare were to convince you to be self-disciplined
This is how he'd do it:
Self-discipline doth lend a steady hand
To guide the mind towards its chosen land
By setting goals, and plans to see them through With steadfast heart and mind, the task is true
To start, small steps doth pave the way
To greater deeds and a brighter day
Break down large goals into smaller parts
And conquer them with steady heart
Distractions, like a siren's song,
Do lead astray, where goals doth long
Eliminate them, and stay the course
Towards the prize, with steady force
Positive reinforcement doth keep
The spirits high, and goals within reach
With each small win, the motivation grows
To tackle greater challenges, one knows
A schedule doth provide a framework
To stay the course and avoid to slack
Holding oneself accountable for the path
And taking responsibility for the aftermath
Be ever ready to adapt and change
For life doth not remain the same
With self-discipline as the guiding light
Victory is within reach, and all is right
Remember, self-discipline, like a muscle,
Doth require effort and consistent hustle.
The more it is exercised, the stronger it becomes And the closer to success, one humbly runs.
