Huge hack: smart engagement.
Here's the exact engagement process to make sure Twitter algo works in your favor:
Before we begin – 1 thing to sort out:
Create 3 Twitter lists:
• smaller creators (0-30K followers) from your niche
• big accounts form your niche (80K+)
• people you enjoy reading regardless of their follower count
I’ll explain why later.
Ready? 👇
Most social media like people who are regular.
Both in terms of posting and engagement.
The easiest way to make sure you achieve both is to work in cycles:
Engage

Post

Engage
🔽
BREAK
🔽
Repeat
Let’s see an example:
My daily engagement goal is 60 minutes.
I usually post 3 times a day.
So, using the method from the previous tweet, I divide my goal to 3 sessions, 20 min each.
Here’s my engagement schedule:
But this isn’t the whole story.
Another crucial part of smart engagement is the strategy behind it.
Let’s go back to the lists you created:
Decide when you’d like to engage with each list of other creators.
Important: include only 1 list per engagement cycle.
I’m doing it like this:
You’re gonna engage with the list for HALF of the time you have for each engagement cycle.
If you have 20 min — you use 10 min engagement with the list.
Then, use 5 min to engage with replies and mentions.
Then, publish something.
Let’s add it to your schedule now:
We're left with 5 more minutes.
We're gonna use them for the last stage of the engagement cycle.
After you publish, engage for another 5 minutes with the recent replies and mentions you got.
Now, the most important part:
Why does it even work?
I observed that Twitter algo favors people who use the platform extensively.
It's pretty obvious:
the more you're here = the more ads you see = the more $ Twitter makes.
But that's only one side of the story:
The 2nd is the strategic approach and powering up the "human algorithm."
By dividing people from your niche into 2 groups, you make sure:
• you show up for creators on the same stage as you
• you're exposed to more creators from your niche by engaging with leaders
Plus:
The 3rd side of it all:
Smart engagement makes sure you engage daily with people you truly enjoy reading.
It helps you stay consistent with the engagement and come back here every day.
So, it tricks your brain a little as well 😎
But what if you don't have 60 mins a day?
This system is easily adjustable to your posting schedule and time availability.
If you post 2x a day and have only 30 min/day
Divide all of it in half.
The most important part here is the behavioral pattern, not the time you put into it.
Let's sum this up:
TLDR – The smart engagement system:
1. Create 3 Twitter lists to engage with
2. Engage both with your replies and other people's content
3. Post, then engage a little bit more
4. Take a break
5. Repeat
6. Watch Twitter algo fall in love with you.
That's a wrap!
