If you're not focusing on these 10 things by the time you're 30, you won't become a millionaire.
1: Money.
"But there's more to life than money!!!"
F*ck that.
A little focus on money now means a rich retirement later. Your family will thank you.
2: Health.
If you refuse to do moderate exercise at least three times a week, start putting extra money aside for your future healthcare bill.
Screw all the cardio. Lift weights.
You'll be stronger, more confident, and burn *more fat*.
3: Career.
If you don't have a 10-year career plan, you're *NEVER* going to achieve much of anything.
Wanna be the manager?
Wanna start your own biz?
Wanna release your own product?
KNOW IT. Then, do it.
4: High-quality network.
Ditch low-value friends. If they only want to talk about politics and pop culture, they won't help you be successful.
Find a group of friends who talk about entrepreneurship. Fitness. Success.
5: Passive income.
Making money while you sleep is how rich people get rich. Working and spending is for suckers.
Passive income = no work.
Examples:
- capital gains
- courses/eBooks
- dividend stocks
- rental properties
Work for money. Use money to buy assets.
6: Public speaking.
Good speakers are VERY successful. They communicate well. They know how to influence and get what they want. This will instantly elevate your career.
Afraid of public speaking? Who cares?
Do it anyway.
7: Productive hobbies.
Discover hobbies that make you better.
Bad hobbies: Netflix, video games, arguing politics.
Good hobbies: Woodworking, hunting, cooking, writing, painting, and Yoga.
8: Saying yes.
Just got an opportunity that you don't know how to do? Who cares, do it anyway.
Getting in over your head is how to learn, FAST. It's how to level up your career.
Say yes. Then, work your ass off to get it done.
Do this once and it's easy.
9: Keep moving.
I switched companies five times in 14 years.
Each job switch came with a 15 to 20% raise.
Even if I was "happy," I kept an ear open. I never let an opportunity pass without at least a little exploration.
This is the 'Easy Button' to more money.
10: Letting others win arguments.
Winning stupid arguments won't get you rich, but it will get you stressed-the-F-out.
Let them "win" and stop arguing.
Then, spend more time doing the things that'll get you richer and more successful than they are.
I spend a lot of time writing these threads.
