Anyway something I don't think any of these guys have considered is what happens when 2025 comes and goes and as is almost certainly likely to occur, nothing's happened? How do you message that?
There's ofc the obvious of "wow good job everyone we deterred them" but I think these guys are significantly underestimating the boy who cried wolf phenomenon by aiming at the next 1-2 years when the reality is the most danger is the late 20s and (especially) the early 30s
But I suspect their take is "not my problem I'll be retired by then," which, sure, solve the problems you've been given in the time you have, but we really need to be thinking about this strategically and not just be throwing shit at the wall
