This is the MONTH of the consequential election.
Every Obidient has two roles to play in the respective polling units. Beginning from today, for 24 days, G.O will be tweeting to Obidients as LP Observers/Citizen Observers on 25 February 2023 with the hashtag #GOToObidients

What are the two roles of every Obidient?
1. Witness all aspects of the voting process- from accreditation, voting, counting, announcements of results, to transmission of results;
2. Prior to the commencement of voting, scout the polling unit for presence of LP agent

Note: A party is entitled to a party agent per polling unit
Examine the polling unit for INEC officials, including polling orderly (Police), proper deployment of materials, examine the ballot box and witness the sealing of the box.
Ensure that the box is transparent

Subsidiary responsibilities:
a. Every Obidient must ensure that s/he knows where his/her polling unit is well ahead of the election;
b. Every Obidient must learn to identify other Obidients in their locality, to form group protection on election day;

c. Obidients must not wear party paraphernalia on election day - for personal protection and respect for the law.
