1-We saw UNICEF @UNICEFinArabic tender to purchase printers &hand them over to Ministry of Education, controlled by Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi, despite warnings that militia will use these printers to print educational materials &curricula distorted over the years of the coup.

2-We recall intl reports that confirmed involvement of Houthi militia in recruiting children &continuous tampering with "school curricula" to militarize children &mobilizing them to the battle fronts & brainwashing them with extremist sectarian ideas imported from Iran.

3-We remind UNICEF in Yemen that its mission is to protect children from various threats, namely terrorist activities of Houthi militia, &curricula that glorify arms among children, call them to jihad &take them to battle fronts. UNICEF shouldn’t deviate from its mandate.

4-We call on UNICEF to stop handing over printers to Houthis, &coordinate with relevant authorities in IRG to print curricula, &direct donors’ support to confront children recruitment by Houthi militia, & to adopt programs for their rehabilitation and integration into community.
