Choose the right type of mushroom to grow based on the climate and available growing materials
Obtain spores or spores of mycelium from a mushroom culture, or purchase spawn (mycelium grown on a substrate)
Choose a growing substrate, such as straw, sawdust, or compost
Sterilize the substrate to eliminate any competing bacteria or fungi
Inoculate the substrate with the mushroom spores or spawn and incubate for 1-2 weeks.
Place the inoculated substrate into a container with a high humidity environment, such as a grow tent or plastic bag
Provide adequate light, temperature, and humidity for the mushrooms to grow.
Harvest the mushrooms when the cap begins to separate from the stem and before the spores begin to release spores
Repeat the process as desired to continue harvesting mushrooms
Note: Different species of mushrooms have different requirements and it is important to research and follow specific guidelines for your desired species
