The two units, the Extremism Analysis Unit (EAU) and the Research Information and Communications Unit (RICU) operate without accountability & employ methods which violate the rights & freedoms of UK Muslims, denying them due process and legal representation.
This mode of surveillance has been built on the exploitation of anti-Muslim fears and prejudices. British Muslims are arguably the 1st targets of such extrajudicial processes.
