Hussain Shah got very angry & sent troops to subdue the Hindu authority of Bayara. In the first of Äį¹£Äį¹ha (July), Nawab's troops marched majestically to Damodar ashore and entered the camp.

After hearing the news of his defeat, Hussain Shah begged for a treaty for peace deal. He considered that Raja Ranajit was a brave and heroic man and all the able men of his kingdom were skilful and ready to sacrifice their lives for the sake of the country.
