If someone tries to make taw’eel of this attribute claiming it means blessing or strength ask him these simple questions;
1) Where is the evidence for changing the meaning, when Allāh, His Messenger ﷺ and the Salaf left it as it is.
2) Does it make sense that in the context given that in the Arabic language one would say “…created with my blessings”
3) This attribute us always been mentioned in dual form (i.e as Two Hands) throughout the whole of the Qur’ān and Sunnah, whereas blessing has been mentioned as a single thing. So how could the former refer to the latter?
4) If they claim it means strength or power, then it is known that Allāh created everything with His power. So why would Allāh boast the uniqueness of Ādam to Iblīs being created with His Hands - if it meant power then there would be no differentiation between them.
Likewise with the other Prophets ﷺ who argued the superiority of Ādam عليهم السلام because he was created with The Two Hands.
If it meant power, then they would not use this argument, as everything was created with Allāhs power.
5) Allāh and His Messenger ﷺ mentioned the attribute in a way that it is impossible for it to mean blessing or strength.
For example it is reported with the wording “palm” rather than hand. As well as it being reported to be used in “Gripping” and “Shaking”.
