My research group at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has two Ph.D. openings in Computer Engineering/Computer Science for Fall 2023. We are looking for talented students in the broad areas of wireless communication, wireless networking, and wireless sensing.
We are particularly interested in (1) developing digital twin models with the Internet of Everything and RFID/NFC sensing and (2) time-sensitive networking for extended reality.
The ideal candidates should have a solid background in experimental wireless research
(software-defined radio development and network simulation), and wireless system modeling and optimization. Previous experiences in wireless prototyping, algorithm development, and publishing high-quality research papers are preferred.
Stipends and tuition support will be provided. If you are interested, please email me at hguo10@unl.edu with the subject "Graduate Research Opening", attaching your CV, transcripts, and a brief introduction of your background and motivation.
