Our Pati gives shelter to even those Paśus who insult him; will He not give shelter to exalted Bhaktas?

यथेह पुत्रपौत्रादेः प्रीत्या प्रीतो भवेत्पिता ।
तथा विश्वस्य सम्प्रीत्या प्रीतो भवति शंकरः ॥१४॥
yatheha putrapautrādeḥ prītyā prīto bhavetpitā |
tathā viśvasya samprītyā prīto bhavati śaṃkaraḥ ||14||

“Just as how, by the happiness (prīti) of his sons, grandsons & etc, a father becomes happy, so, by the complete (true) happiness (sam̐prīti) of all [beings], Śaṅkara becomes happy.”

You can mock Him with but He is the Pati, the Omni-benevolent Father who eternally graces all Paśus; the mortal Paśus who live here as well as the Paśus who are worshiped by the mortal Paśus.
