Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Loksabha claimed that the BJP govt and PM Narendra Modi were responsible for the boom in Adani’s wealth and influence in business. However, if we use this logic, then even Congress shares the blame. 1/n

Chhattisgarh govt approved coal mining under the second phase of the Parsa East-Kete Basan coal block, despite environmental concerns and protests by the local tribal population. The Coal block is owned and run by none other than Adani Enterprises. 2/n
Not only Chattisgarh but the Adani Group have attained several projects in Rajasthan as well. The group is planning to invest ₹65,000 crore in the state in the coming years. 3/n

The UDF govt in Kerala, led by Cong, awarded ‘Adani Ports’ the contract to build a new port in Vizhinjam in 2015. The contract was given to Adani Ports, who placed the lowest grant bid in the auction with a proposal of ₹1,635 crore, using the Viability Gap Funding. 6/n
It was announced last year that Adani Group will invest more than $3 billion to establish a port in India's West Bengal, a state which is ruled by the TMC party and whose CM is Mamta Banerjee, a fierce BJP critic. 7/n
